Personal Safety Strategy | Information Session

FreeRetired New Hampshire State Troopers and NRA Certified Instructors, Joe McHugh and Cathy McHugh will present an information session on personal safety awareness.
This session will serve as an introduction to how you can use simple tips and techniques to avoid becoming a victim of crime. (This is neither a firearms or self defense class.)
The goal is to provide attendees with the knowledge and skills to create a personal safety strategy that will work for you while at home, work, or away.
A commitment to you or your family’s safety begins with a personal strategy.

About the Instructors: Joe and Cathy McHugh
Joe McHugh:
With over 25 years of developing and delivering training programs to state and local law enforcement agencies, Joe has also been active in U.S and foreign military, and has taught private individuals in self-defense, firearms and tactics, and physical security. He is a Boston, Massachusetts native, where he was also a former Army Specials Forces NCO who transitioned into Law Enforcement following his tour of duty. After serving 20 years in the local and state law enforcement he retired as an elite member of the N.H State Police Major Crime Unit in New Hampshire. On his second tour of duty Joe McHugh served as a Law Enforcement Professional Adviser to the Military Commanders during the Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. Joe McHugh has a numerous instructor certifications that include: Defensive Tactics, Law Enforcement Handgun, Shotgun, and Carbine Rifle. Not to mention he is also certified as an NRA Range Safety Officer and is a Nationally Registered EMT & is Tactical Combat Casualty Care qualified by the U.S Military.
Cathy McHugh:
After a short career in the banking industry, Cathy McHugh worked for the New Hampshire Department of Motor Vehicles as a licensing officer. Soon after she joined the N.H Highway Patrol as a sworn police officer, specializing in Motor Vehicle enforcement. Continuing her law enforcement career as a State Trooper, Cathy was then assigned to a joint State Police and Department of Motor Vehicles Task Force of the Supervisor of the Pupil Transportation Section. Following her retirement from State Police, Cathy McHugh entered the healthcare industry where she worked as a security professional. She also was employed as a contractor with the U.S. Marshals Office. Certified in Taser, Defensive Tactics, Handgun and Shotgun, Cathy McHugh is also an NRA Refuse to Be a Victim Instructor, as well as an NRA Handgun Instructor. As the primary instructor for our Women Only classes, she utilizes her diverse background and experience to deliver an unmatched level of instructions to the clients.
