It Takes Two to Tango: How to Start a Movement

We stumbled upon this excellent presentation by Derek Sivers at TED on How to Start a Movement.
This video-presentation dissects what’s involved in starting a “movement.” In about three minutes, you will learn that starting a movement takes a leader who is not afraid to take risks, a second kind of leader (a peer, a lieutenant leader so to speak) who will lead the execution and act as the head-influencer in getting others to follow.
Also greatly appreciated is the always useful, value of brief, concise, storytelling… 🙂
TED is a nonprofit devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing people together from three worlds: Technology, Entertainment, Design. Since then its scope has become ever broader. Original TED post can be found here. | Derek Sivers in a musician and entrepreneur; the founder of CD Baby. You can connect with him on twitter: @Sivers
